It’s been super rainy here in Phoenix all week, so when the sun started to peek out yesterday I got super excited and motivated to get all the things done (versus cozy up with tea under a blanket). I *finally* lit my Le Labo candle that I’d tucked away for a good day, and noticed that the firestick in our back yard was really living up to its name. It’s truly a beautiful time in the desert!
I’m rounding out this week with some media opps/requests as we get ready to dive into FEBRUARY!
Here’s what I’m working on right now. Please do not respond to this email, but instead send a fresh email to wendyrosegould@gmail.com with any solid fits. (Otherwise your email gets lost in the shuffle!)

Martha Stewart: Last call to send me your modern kitchen images for a roundup. This is being submitted by the end of TODAY (1/26). Send the hi-res images (that your designer has secured permissions to use) along with the photographer and designer’s name.
Real Simple: Seeking an organizing pro to help walk our readers through the steps of organizing their clothing drawers.
Real Simple: FLORISTS, holler! I’m putting together a fun roundup on black flowers.
Beauty
Real Simple: Looking for professional makeup artists to share how to define your cupid’s bow.
Real Simple: Seeking a dermatologist and/or esthetician to weigh in on the topic of using grapeseed oil on your skin.
Real Simple: Seeking a dermatologist and/or esthetician to share information on succinic acid, which is commonly used to treat acne.
Pets
Reader’s Digest: I’m working on a large project for Reader’s Digest focused on dog breed roundups. I’m looking for veterinarians and licensed dog trainers to weigh in. You can be affiliated with a brand, and I can cite/link to the brand, but we won’t be including commerce.
Chewy: Calling all chicken experts! I’m working on two large stories related to chicken-rearing, including determining how much space chickens truly need, and another on their diets. I’d prefer a veterinarian familiar with small pets like this, and would also like to talk to chicken owners who are adept in rearing (versus new hobbyists).
Relationships
The Knot: For a rolling basis, I’m seeking credential therapists and relationship experts who can help with stories that’ll appear on The Knot!
Travel
Travel Curator: Crowd sourcing here (and also HMU if you rep a tourism board). I’m putting together a list of small/tiny towns in California that are absolutely worth dropping by. I already have a few on my list, but would love to hear yours!
