7 Reasons Your Client Wasn’t Included in the Story

AND what to do about it next time!

I just got back from the most incredible press trip to Newport Beach, California that completely satiated this little seafood lover’s appetite and left me feeling renewed. It was a small group of female reporters from Cali, Texas, AZ (me!), and of all places London (a branded reporter with Nat Geo).

Has anyone been to the area before? I’ve done the Highway 1 trip so I’ve traveled through much of OC, but haven’t really spent a lot of time in Newport before this past week and I loved it. Some takeaways were the gorgeous Lido House boutique hotel, the historic Crystal Cove district, and—I think I mentioned—the seafood (if you go to the new Restoration Hardware you MUST order the seafood tower and salmon).

This work week is a bit slower due to Passover, Good Friday, and Easter (and spring breaks/ recess week in NYC), which has been a nice change of pace. Anyone else notice emails are coming in less frequently and more OOOs? I say we embrace the slowdown and then carry on once things pick back up!
